Landscape Design and Installation

One of our most valuable assets at Innovative Outdoors is the superior quality and expertise that goes into our designs. An accurate and detailed landscape design is very important in allowing our customers to visualize and understand creative ideas. Our design process involves a great deal of communication to ensure we are all on the same page throughout the process; whether you are looking for a complete construction design, a long-term plan accounting for several installments, or just a professional design to help your own backyard projects.

Creating a Design

The first step in creating a design involves a project manager meeting with the customer for a free evaluation and consultation to discuss concepts and solutions to customer needs. After an initial direction is established, the project manager and designer will further evaluate the property and collaborate on creative ideas .Once our landscape architect or designer fully understands the objectives, he will create a conceptual design that can include artistic renderings, 3D modeling, perspective views, and structural specifications.  These expert designs vividly illustrate the creative solutions we propose to customers and help to show a structured plan for installation of each component. The creative process does not end with a completed design, however, as project components are always customizable, even during the construction stage. But a professional design serves as a valuable visual aid in helping customers to see the potential for their project.

Our landscape architects and designers bring an expert combination of industry knowledge and artistic ability to the Innovative Outdoors staff. All of our designers graduated from the UGA landscape architecture program, which is nationally ranked as the #1 program in the country. Their design experience includes master planning, gardening and horticulture expertise, artistic renderings, 3D modeling, and basic conceptual sketches.
